PRS ME&A Conference KSA
PRS Conference, KSA, organised by Media Fusion & Crain Communications, as part of the Plastics Recycling Show Middle East & Africa (PRS ME&A), will be held June (22) 23, 2025, at Riyadh Marriott Hotel, KSA.
The one-day conference will gather thought leaders, policymakers, innovators, and sustainability advocates as we come together to explore one of the most pressing challenges of our time – achieving plastic circularity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is an exceptional platform to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and inspire collective action toward closing the loop on plastics.
In alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the nation is steadfast in its commitment to building a sustainable and diversified economy. One of its key goals is the pursuit of plastic circularity, a critical element in reducing waste and protecting the environment for future generations.
As part of the broader Saudi Green Initiative, the Kingdom has pledged a groundbreaking investment of 100 billion Saudi Riyals by 2035 to ensure that more than 90% of the waste generated is diverted from landfills. Currently, about 8-10% of the 3 million tonnes of plastic waste generated annually in Saudi Arabia is recycled. But with the nation’s bold sustainability goals, the potential to transform this figure is enormous.
The focus of this conference is on the current state of plastics recycling in Saudi Arabia, the challenges ahead, and the untapped opportunities for advancing plastic circularity. From technological innovations to public-private collaboration, this event will bring together diverse perspectives and expertise to share insights and best practices. The forum will delve into various topics and put forth strategies to achieve a more sustainable, circular future for plastics in the Kingdom.
