This award recognises plastics recycling machinery innovation in the Middle East and Africa. 

Within this category, innovative machinery advancements which increase the efficiency and effectiveness of plastic recycling processes can be submitted. Developments and innovations in the fields of sorting, grinding, shredding, washing, filtering, extrusion and other stages of the recycling process can be submitted, given they are directly involved in the process of plastic recycling. 

Who should enter : All types and sizes of plastic recycling machinery facilities. 

Key Criteria: The machinery will be judged based on, among other aspects, the effectiveness, efficiency, innovation, performance, quality and cost-efficiency it brings to the overall plastic recycling process and based on how it contributes towards higher quality recycling. 

The machinery innovation must be either:

• Designed in the Middle East or Africa
• Developed in the Middle East or Africa
• In operation in the Middle East or Africa

Submitted machinery innovations must not be older than 4 years.

This award recognises sustainable plastics packaging companies in the Middle East and Africa. 

Who should enter: All types and sizes of plastic packaging companies. 

Key Criteria

• Demonstrating outstanding operation, innovation, practices and business expansion. 
• Forward-thinking business strategy including meeting the demand for sustainability, production excellence and top-quality customer support.
