Morice Hoogteijling started his career in R&D for the oil industry and brought that experience to Avery Dennison, where he has worked for over 20 years in R&D on film labels for various applications.

In Morice’s current role as principal scientist, he uses his deep knowledge of the plastic industry to help innovate their labels to meet contemporary recycling practices and face the challenges of the PPWR.

Morice also develops and nurtures collaboration within the industry to influence more sustainable practices through the adoption of Avery Dennison solutions. Morice enjoys the challenges of the recycling industry and believes in moving beyond assumptions about sustainability with scientifically tested solutions.
