Engineer Mohammad Mosa is a seasoned environmental expert with a wealth of experience spanning over three decades. Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mohammad has dedicated his career to pioneering initiatives in environmental sustainability and waste management.
Currently serving as an Expert in Planning and Waste Management at the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD), United Arab Emirates, Mohammad plays a pivotal role in shaping environmental policies and strategies at emirate level. His contributions to the agency include spearheading the development of innovative waste management strategies, facilitating permitting process for waste management activities, and overseeing the management of municipal and hazardous waste.
Prior to his tenure at EAD, Mohammad held the esteemed position of Manager of the Environmental Management Studies Section at the Royal Scientific Society of Jordan. During his tenure, he led multifaceted projects focused on environmental impact assessment, environmental auditing, and the implementation of environmental management systems. His expertise in pollution prevention, waste minimization, and cleaner production techniques has been instrumental in mitigating environmental risks and fostering sustainable development practices.
Throughout his career, Mohammad has supervised and actively participated in a myriad of research studies and projects across various environmental disciplines.
